School Services
LSG & Associates has been helping fill the vacancies in our schools since 2014. By providing school based therapies including Speech therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social work, Psychology, ABA services, Special Education Teachers, and Diagnostician services.
Speech Therapy
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Apprentices in Speech-Language (ASLs) can treat a variety of disorders, including speech, language, cognitive, social, and swallowing. The speech-language therapy staff at LSG and Associates can assistant in providing services in school, in home services for DD Waiver, along with clinical services at our office. Teletherapy services are also available.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapist(OT’s) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA’s) work with students to target physical, cognitive, psychosocial and sensory components that may be stopping them from reaching their IEP goals.
Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapist’s work with students on mobility, strength, balance, and all issues that can impact a students ability to engage in their physical environment. They set realistic IEP goals to help students feel confident in and out of the classroom.
Social Work
Our Licensed School Social Workers, support students and advocate for their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. LSG’s social workers council students, provide at-risk students with useful resources and work with their IEP team to provide the provide supports at school and at home.
Diagnostic Services
Our diagnosticians consult with local education agencies to determine the area of need and appropriate testing. LSG’s bilingual diagnosticians are trained to test for cognitive, intellectual, academic, social emotional, and individual areas of deficits. They deliver professional and prompt informative reports that can be used to complete the SAT process and assist in making eligibility and informed placement decisions.
Psychology
LSG’s team of highly trained psychologist consult with school staff to determine the area of need and appropriate testing for academic/learning interventions as well as mental health interventions. They assist with developing supports for students who have experienced trauma, depression, social and emotional deficits that hinder social and academic functions to be treated within the school system or through referrals.
ABA Services
We work closely with the New Mexico Autism Project to support teachers who serve children with autism in their classroom. Our team of BCBA’s and RBT’s assess the needs of teachers, provide materials, and model strategies that can be implemented to support students unique needs.
Special Education Teachers
We understand that our state has many unfilled vacancies when it comes to Special Education, we contract passionate and professional teachers to help fill the need and set our students up for success.
